Homework #9 for the Cambridge PET course. This part is focused on Writing.

Dear students, before your next lesson write a letter to your friend in about 100 words.

1. This is a part of a letter you receive from an Australian friend.

``It’s summer now, so I spend nearly all my time outside with my friends. What do you do in your country when the weather is sunny? What’s your favourite type of weather and why?``

EUGENE MARSDEN

Creative English Teacher

Advice:

Think about your typical summer holiday activities – travelling? Going to the beach? Playing sport? Seeing friends? Visiting relatives? TV? Music? What do you enjoy most about sunny weather? What type of food do you eat in cold and hot weather?

Tip!

You must begin the letter correctly (Dear Kate, Hi Sam) and end it properly too (Best wishes, Love from). You could also use I’m looking forward to hearing from you / seeing you.
